Introduction

Hackmeeting celebrates its 17th edition and this year it will take place in Naples, from 19th to 21st June 2015. As you may know, Hackmeeting is a self-managed event where there are neither organizers nor consumers but only attendees. Three days of talks, seminars, games, parties, debates, ideas exchange and collective learning, to analyses together technologies that we use day to day, how they change and which turn upside down they made on our real and virtual life, which role we can assume to address this change to free it by the control of whom wants to monopolize its develop, crumbling the social tissues and relegate us in more tiny virtual spaces.

Subjects

This year the main subjects are repression and mass surveillance made by technologies. How they work? How we can neutralize them, hack them, and subvert them? We'll dive into malwares, asymmetric cryptography, social networks, network interceptions and everything each participant will bring to the event. In addition to talks, this year we'll try to organize a round table to chat about projects we have developped across the past year, without frontal lessons, in an horizontal way. If you want to share your project and compare with others similar projects, announce it in the mailing list and organize it with the community!
