DyneBolic is a branch developed out of the '''Bolic1''' project, started by the hackers from the [http://www.ecn.org/loa LOA hacklab] as a small sized CD distribution: Bolic1 offers a console interface and a complete suite of handy networking tools.

DyneBolic takes the core of that distribution adding Xwindows, hardware device automatic detection, easy to setup networking and allready setup tools like our streaming software [http://muse.dyne.org MuSE], our realtime video software [http://freej.dyne.org FreeJ] and [http://www.mozilla.org Mozilla] with everything you need to surf the net.

== authors ==

the current release of DyneBolic including all the documentation and startup scripts has been done by Denis Roio aka jaromil <jaromil@dyne.org> with the contribution of Fabio Bardella aka lobo <lobo@dyne.org>.

Bolic1 original idea and the initial boot.disk is a LOA hacklab project by c1cc10 <c1cc10@autistici.org>, bomboclat <bomboclat@autistici.org> and liw <liw@autistici.org>.

DyneBolic includes the work of hundreds of people all around the world developing free software and GNU/Linux applications, without their efforts DyneBolic would have never existed. Here it is where you can find the sourcecodes of most of the applications included: http://www.gnu.org http://www.xfree86.org http://www.mozilla.org http://www.slackware.com http://www.dyne.org http://www.linux-mandrake.com/harddrake
