=== GNU/Linux based live bootable CD-ROM ===
= [dyne:bolic] =
Line 4: Line 3:
DyneBolic is a live bootable CD-ROM, this means is a nice-looking silicium disk you put into your cd disk-tray and reboot your machine with it. You'll experience then something totally different (in case you've been just using proprietary software until now) and it's what is called '''Free Software'''. DyneBolic it's a complete operative system working '''without the need for any hard-disk''', you need just some low profile requirements (see below) and you'll get back '''true Love'''. this page is part of the documentation available on the [dyne:bolic] distribution, you can find a project overview on http://www.dynebolic.org/
Line 6: Line 5:
This product is developed in the effort to give everyone the possibility to discover how '''GNU/Linux''' tastes better than any other operative system, while representing a way to support our research developing '''Free Software'''. here it follows a "making-of" documentation, which can be updated by anyone involved.
Line 8: Line 7:
DyneBolic is '''easy to use''': recognizes most of your hardware and puts online your netowork card with few clicks needed. Freedom is just one reboot away! you'll be able to '''stream''', make '''realtime video effects''' out of many supported video grabbing devices, '''surf the net''' and feel good while using a non-proprietary operative system on your computer: because it deserves it. in fact those pages are freely editable by anyone, but please don't change them just for experiment. if you want to better know what is a wiki read HelpForBeginners and experiment on WikiSandBox.
