DyneBolic is a live bootable CD-ROM, this means is a nice-looking silicium disk you put into your cd disk-tray and reboot your machine with it. Freedom is just one reboot away! you'll be able to stream, make realtime video effects out of many supported video grabbing devices, surf the net and feel good while using a non-proprietary operative system on your computer: because it deserves it.

history

DyneBolic is a branch developed out of the Bolic1 project, started by the hackers from the [http://www.ecn.org/loa LOA hacklab] as a small sized CD distribution: Bolic1 offers a console interface and a complete suite of handy networking tools.

DyneBolic takes the core of that distribution adding Xwindows, hardware device automatic detection, easy to setup networking and allready setup tools like our streaming software [http://muse.dyne.org MuSE], our realtime video software [http://freej.dyne.org FreeJ] and [http://www.mozilla.org Mozilla] with everything you need to surf the net.
