## Hackmeeting 2015: call for interpreters We believe that knowledge sharing should not be limited by linguistic bareers, especially when we are dealing with technologies and topics that ignore and cross geographical borders. This year we want to try to ease the colaboration with the aid of translations, thus making hackmeeting more comfortable for people from any part of the world and for whatever talk of whoever wants to share her knowledge even if she cannot speak Italian. The final goal would be translating everything simultaneously. As for the technical part, we're getting ready with DIY solutions inspired by our hacker attitude. What we really need are people that would make Hackmeeting better doing translations. To be clearer, we're looking for: * people that are comfortable with hackmeeting topics and that not only can speak some languages (especially italian, english and castellano) but would also be ok translating while listening. * people that know some other languages quite well, even without the competence to do realtime translations. Volounteers can do _consecutive translation_ (the one where you take some notes, then you translate when the speaker is having a pause) or "assist" foreign hackers whispering the translation in their ear. To make all of this possible, we're trying hard to fetch/create/test what's needed. Coherently with hackmeeting attitude, we'll know if it works only at the meeting. Following the self-management spirit, we don't want to ask for huge workload to anyone but instead to share the energies. To whom will help translating we promise that she won't spend all the time translating, and that she will be able to _live_ the event and the city. There will be place to sleep (if you are not too picky!) and food with popular prices, and we will try hard to make you feel comfortable especially if you come from far away :)
