Ufe Hausman (FIAN)
the most important element of this ngo forum is the trasformation of the different emergent position and underlines in a kind of conduct code. The next step have to be the acptance by the governaments of this Code and for this we have to make a pression to them to tranforme it in law.

The international documents made until now( Fao, cartagena document, etc.) show us their failures about peace, food, human right, etc. It's very important to make a unified instrument to garantee rights and peace and for this we prepared a draft about international farmers righ about right land, access to resources, fair price in the market, genetic resources and indigenous culture.

The political of WTO and World bank helped only the multinational producing very strong migrations flows and lost of control on our own resources. We have to make pression to push out of the wto market rule the agricolture and food throught a wide form of cooperation between north and south of the NGO world. It's important the ngo must have a much more stronger role.

We think we need of instruments to help the poorest countries and from our point of view this instrument is the 'Development Box'. It is a way but no the solution; it's one of the possible tools because, in this context of market liberalization, the poorest countries are damnaged in export and political decisions.

It is not just a problem of political will to sure the food and the right to access to the food. We must go forward and propose a clear program to empowerment poor people to produce and buy food by themself. It is not only a question of dumping but the problem is to realized a struggle of food sovereignty besides the WTO. The WTO is no democratic organism
and we can't change the its framework but the paradigme and the principals of cooperation
The stratetegy proposing is not a national mechanismo reflexcted international cooperation and solidarity in challenging WTO globalization model.
