Giovedì 15 aprile venivano arrestati in Svizzera Costantino Ragusa, Silvia Guerini e Billy (Luca Bernasconi).
Costa, Silvia e Billy sono compagni anarchici da anni attivi nelle lotte ecologiste radicali, per la liberazione animale, contro nocività come biotecnologie, nanotecnologie, nucleare e nel supporto e sostegno solidale dei prigionieri.
A quanto pare sembra che le accuse e le detenzioni siano gestite dalla procura di Zurigo.

Dodici attivisti per i diritti animali sono stati arrestati mercoledì 22 giugno dalla polizia spagnola, con una serie di irruzioni promosse dal giudice magistrato incaricato delle indagini a Santiago de Compostela, in Galizia (Spagna).

Arresti e perquisizioni sono avvenute nelle case di attivisti delle organizzazioni Igualdad Animal/Animal Equality ed Equanimal nelle zone di Madrid, Asturia, Vizcaya e Galizia. Quelli arrestati sono stati portati a Santiago de Compostela, dove sono state formulate le accuse di reati contro l’ambiente, disordine pubblico e associazione a delinquere.

Il punto di partenza delle indagini sembrerebbe essere la liberazione di circa 20.000 visoni avvenuta nell’allevamento Visones Bermudez, a Santiago de Compostela, nel novembre del 2007.
