bla da POTARE....
Tubocatodico continues its steps nourished by new collaborations.
Our performance dumb its webbing, now, and a new door is delineated between
spectators and us. ...not only..

The intention is to build up the structure of the play like a living element,
without owner, indipendent from our will, a "music score" that can be changed,
developed, erased, played by everyone simply editing a wiki page, respecting little
rules to guarantee its survival.

We will play it,as it is some hours before the event,we'll meet that
living structure with who want to partecipate ,directly or indirectly,
but always with an open mind, the same that allows two strangers to
comunicate,to put something in common, something that connect.

The event is not only what you "see",and during the event it's impossible to be
a passive spectator like when you are watching TV...
your presence have a weight, your attention influence what is happening..
try to do the same thing with a new iteractive TeleVision...

During Tubocatodico anyone can cross one of the differents
door, choosing to actively play a different role in the event.

MuSE Streamer 0.8.1

MuSE provides the free software community with a user friendly but powerful tool for network audio streaming, making life easier for indypendent free speech online radios.

MuSE is an application for the mixing, encoding, and network streaming of sound: it can mix up to 6 encoded audio bitstreams (from files or network, mp3 or ogg) plus a souncard input signal, the resulting stream can be played locally on the sound card and/or encoded at different bitrates, recorded to harddisk and/or streamed to the net. When sent to a server, the resulting audio can be listened thru the net by a vast number of players available on different operating systems.

To be operated MuSE offers graphical interfaces and a documented commandline interface in the good old unix style.

an italian article about MuSE, also published in the book Media Activism (DeriveApprodi), is freely redistributable under the GNU Free Documentation License, available online in various formats: http://muse.dyne.org/muse-deriveapprodi.html http://muse.dyne.org/muse-deriveapprodi.pdf http://muse.dyne.org/muse-deriveapprodi.txt http://muse.dyne.org/muse-deriveapprodi.rtf http://muse.dyne.org/muse-deriveapprodi.ps
