dyne:bolic 1.0 alpha 5

Surf, stream, record, edit and play both sound and video! all just in one bootable CD, without any installation you get a cool GNU/Linux system full of multimedia applications - FREE as in LOVE ;) dyne:bolic packs a wide range of applications divided by task, it works even if you have winblows installed (it just runs from the CD!) and now the ALPHA 5 release is the FIRST BOOTABLE CD which also works on XBOX GAME CONSOLES (with modchip)

TUBOCATODICO performance

TUBOCATODICO continues its steps nourished by new collaborations.

The intention is to build up the structure of the play like a living element, without owner, indipendent from our will, a "canovaccio" that can be played by every spectator.

The event is not only what you "see",during the event it's impossible to be a passive spectator like when you are watching a TV. TUBOCATODICO is the compresence and relation of the factors in play: you are in play too. Your presence have a Weight,your attention continuosly influence what is happening.. The interactive television continuosly control a "common man", but sometimes it loses or interlaces the threads of it's mockup. The puppet act the mask in the space, around the people, he continuosly try to escape towards the Weight of the presents.

MuSE Streamer 0.8.1

MuSE provides the free software community with a user friendly but powerful tool for network audio streaming, making life easier for indypendent free speech online radios.

MuSE is an application for the mixing, encoding, and network streaming of sound: it can mix up to 6 encoded audio bitstreams (from files or network, mp3 or ogg) plus a souncard input signal, the resulting stream can be played locally on the sound card and/or encoded at different bitrates, recorded to harddisk and/or streamed to the net. When sent to a server, the resulting audio can be listened thru the net by a vast number of players available on different operating systems.

To be operated MuSE offers graphical interfaces and a documented commandline interface in the good old unix style.
